Not exactly "self" teach but just talking with friends about it helps a lot.

I downloaded "jerboa" which is modeled after RIF I think. Lemmy is pretty good so far but doesn't have as much content and the app is a bit slower than RIF.
I'm hopeful that it grows into a good replacement. It's certainly off to a good start. There's a starwars memes page though like I said it has a lot less content.
We can, and likely will do better in space. Despite humanities failing most people still care about the human race enough that they want the long term survival of the species. The only way to ensure that is expansion into space colonies.
That doesn't mean we should give up on earth nor does it mean we should sacrifice climate health for the betterment of space travel.
