Is it a bad game? The original Dragon Age is one of my all-time favorites. I haven't followed Veilgard much, and never played the second one because it requires(required?) the Origins client.

Are you sure it's not trying to boot to the USB device, seeing grub is not showing up? Check your bios boot priority when the USB is plugged in.
