And before Spotify was last.fm. Sadly, I think last.fm put all this behind a paid only account within the last few years.
Ours did that before the pandemic and not my area. Within a year, it went back to what it was because of how terrible the quality was. Now they are dumping all the buildings that aren't needed and sent a lot of us home. Of course, the main product that my job deals with needs buildings for machines to work so they didn't get rid of everything. No more corporate, and for now, we are all home for the foreseeable future. I also wonder when they will get the bright idea to start outsourcing again now that it's been like 7 years...

The real talent already built the good stuff. Now, all they need is someone to follow SOP's to maintain and carry on. Improvements and new stuff will take the hit, and they will grow stagnant until someone else starts doing something better, and then they scramble and complain as they start losing money and that's when they start looking for talent again. Except this time, they will just be hired to put in place whatever the other company did and probably be let go after.
Yet here i am with my 18 year old car that is actually running, still looks good enough with only minor damage, and not going to sell it because I couldn't possibly think anyone wants it. If I did sell it there's no way i could ask more than 1k.

I have almost no time to play much, especially an mmo, but I have been trying Throne & Liberty and was kind of impressed from what I have played so far. Again, I am only at the beginning and barely did much, but from what I have seen, I like the mechanics, and it looks really good. I have no clue if it holds up once you get near end game stuff or if P2W takes over.
