They know to fall in-line because a strong Republican Party helps all of them, from the president, all the way down the line to locally elected candidates.
Why can't Democrats see this?
Yeah, true, but literally it is the ONLY car community on Lemmy that I know of with any regular traffic. Even the all-inclusive c/cars one barely gets anyone to post in it which is so sad considering how much traffic the dozens of car subs on Reddit used to get.
Republicans have spent literally decades convincing these people they are the best for them. They have honed that false image and every Republican knows to fall in-line and go after these folks. They hammer that point home every chance they get.
Democrats have a couple of campaign events here or there every couple of years, maybe a couple of articles printed, and then they go back to endlessly pandering to teeny, tiny demographic groups that couldn't get anyone elected.
Why it is that this sub gets more posts in it than any other car community on Lemmy??
Any dad who did the same crime would have gotten a way, way worse punishment.
Oh god. Please aim higher than that. Not saying that Blender ain't powerful, because it clearly is, but it's UI is just plain shit. (Unless there have been some massive improvements over the last few years.)
This is far from new. The best selling vehicle in the US has been the F150 for some 30+ years now and the top 5 spots have typically been pickups from GM and Ram/Dodge.
Do we seriously not know to flip the rear view mirror switch at night?!?
Doesn't make it any less cool, but this is a false color composite image make from a bunch of shots stitched together.
Literally earlier this day I saw a bumper stick on a car in the Target parking lot which said "I miss Reagan" (or something like that).
I wanted to vomit.
Fuck Reagan.
100% agree. Google has the same problem. They are like hyper 5 year olds chasing the next shiny ball that gets their attention and they forget about all the other cool toys they already have. Products take generations to get refined enough for non-early adopters to buy. But way too few products from these companies get a long enough life to get multiple generations
