I need to watch the video you posted still (at work and cannot watch right now), but I just wanted to say that if any of your theories turn out correct... What a wild ride this could be!

An interesting point that I feel like highlighting:
Gamestop lists risks to their common stock: "Some interesting aspects, which are thoroughly known by GameStop’s retail investors"
I wonder what that could mean?
I remember reading this when it was first posted and thinking, "there are red flags everywhere. We gotta get to a new platform." Aaaand here we are...
I would be in favor of creators of OC reposting all their juicy content here. Seems like an easy way to go get some content flowing in this community. Plus, revisiting some topics may be actually be nice.
It is a nice photo. I too like the texture. I think the junction box is totally fine - it adds some interest when looking closer at the photo, but does not catch the eye at a quick glance. The photo looks really dark to me. How does the histogram look? I feel like the photo needs to be at least a half stop up on exposure, or maybe try increasing whites and highlights. Does this photo have a red filter on it? If not, a red filter could make the sky more dramatic while maintaining a minimalist feel.
Cool photo. Cropping it ever so slightly to completely remove the person on the left would help focus the composition. The blue, pink and yellow lights are really interesting Emphasizing the lights by adding a gaussian blur filter could help bring a glowing luminosity to the lights and make the photo more captivating. I would be curious to see how increasing the blacks and shadows effect the photo - might give it more of a mood. It might also be nice to try turning down saturation and turn luminosity up.
Fantastic - I will give these communities a visit for sure!
No idea. I am not knowledgeable enough about the mods of the community. It is interesting that they specifically mention the mods.
This afternoon. I noticed around 1600 MDT. The official reason "This community was banned for repeatedly violating Reddit's Moderator Code of Conduct."
If you try to navigate to r/drsyourgme it says something like, "subreddit banned for multiple rule violations." This is pretty much what everyone was predicting for r/superstonk when the brigading rules were being enforced. Looks like they would rather control the narrative coming from r/superstonk and ban the smaller gme subreddits.
That is my speculation of what is going on. Probably should have told ya to put a tinfoil hat on.
Edit: actually I just checked again. It officially says "This community was banned for repeatedly violating Reddit's Moderator Code of Conduct." That actually makes this feel more like a power move, "mods didn't do what we want, let's ban their subreddit". Also,I feel like the reason was initially more vague. Did they change it?
I'm making the move here. I was mostly a lurker on Reddit, but I am happy to step up my participation to get the ball rolling over here :)
That sub is compromised, as is Reddit as a whole. Time to move on. I am hoping Lemmy can be an alternative, but it is kind of slow around here.
LFG!
