My wife is a NPS ranger and at least once a year she’ll come home and talk about how a new ranger is stressed out by the possibility of a shutdown.
I can’t express how angry it makes me that these poor kids have to deal with that bullshit. The new rangers are usually fresh out of grad school and broke because they just moved across country for a low paying job.
All they want to do is wear their dorky ass uniforms and info dump on tourists. They’re literally like the best of us Americans

An assembly line making perfectly centered holes into a part that they’ve yet to finish painting and detailing
versus
my ass crouching down and praying I can get four clean pilot holes in and by some miracle the paint not start flaking
Not to mention what if I put the plate slightly too high and it catches more wind and starts making some annoying ass whistling
Yeah and I’m only half white jeez
I’m excited for the game but this just feels like a bait post
Because front plates look like shit and Id rather not have to drill into my car just to make it easier on the cops?

I played a few hours of 3 and tiny Tina’s and both just felt really meh. Like the villains were annoying , the characters were annoying, and the weapons felt same old. Maybe I’ve changed and they’re not meant for me anymore but it’s a shame.
I’m hoping the next game makes the weapons feel exciting again. I don’t want to see or hear claptrap anymore
I quickly went from thinking “yeah i can’t blame him those sound like the usual reasons why no one wants to work for the feds” to “oh”
Yeah I bought a new car last year and it doesn’t even have a mounting spot. it’s not a big deal not having two plates I’m sure one of the other 600 cameras on the drive will get me.
For fun I looked up how I’d have to mount a front plate and it’s just gross. I’d have to drill holes into the front or buy a bracket that’d be lopsided.
I remember this story. Unsurprisingly the guy also won reelection the next month.
Yeah if it doesn’t survive the gauntlet then it’s not meant to be. For like suits, coats, and other things that probably shouldn’t be washed I’ll send them to the cleaners.
I’ll never understand how people can so easily play with other people’s lives as if it were a joke
