So what should we do? Avoid all monetized information sources? I don't pay for YT except with my time until I can skip an ad. But if you stop and think no information source is free. Libraries - over inflated taxes on an already middle to lower class that can't afford the luxury tax breaks the ultra rich can buy, the internet - if it's a free site then it's selling your data skimmed from accessing the page. So what should we be supporting? Where should we be sharing and consuming knowledge in a 100% no cost to the user atmosphere?

Haha thanks for the lecture dad. Simple vent about the fact religion and sports should not even be related.

And the fact stands, they don’t change the schedule for religious holidays. NFL - Thanksgiving/Christmas, Baseball - Pick a holiday between Spring and Fall, NBA - Christmas. But you’re right, I’m sure this lunatic crying for a Good Friday bye will get their attention and is completely reasonable.

I hate Easter. Pretty much always have and I think I always will. Let’s all freak out about Jesus pulling a hat trick. Well guess what folks, zombies aren’t real so Jesus didn’t pop out of a tomb after three days. Sorry for the spoiler.

But my biggest issue with it is the religious fanatics. Like people seem to lose their minds over the Jesus shit. This guy for example wants to rearrange an entire baseball schedule. My in laws are going to cram 25 people into a house that can’t fit more than 10. All because of Zombie Jesus. Thank you Zombie Jesus for ruining my spring every year, asshat.

Hello! I am looking for some suggestions on supplemental income while I am job hunting. Unfortunately I had to leave my career unexpectedly due to incessant racism and discrimination.

I have looked into DoorDash (doesn’t seem all that worth it when you start doing the numbers), Fiverr, and I’m currently looking into maybe selling on Etsy.

My main concern is how competitive the current job market is and how long job searches are taking. I would like to at least have a trickle of something coming in.

This is the message my missionary brother in law chose to share with his family and my fiancé during his weekly call home. Good reminder to all of us who were just beginning to feel like a person again, we’re just numbers to Mormon Corp. and their salespeople.

For context he was quoting his MP who was talking to them about getting more baptisms in their mission 🤨

Ummmm so wow how have I never discovered this before??? This is the perfect place for me and it just so happens my keyboard died and I need a new one! I run a Mac and am not picky about Bluetooth or hardwired. Everything else you will have to explain it to me like I’ve 5 haha. Thanks I’m advance. Oh and I did read through the post from a bit ago about good budget keyboards and that was useful.
