Hello! I am looking for some suggestions on supplemental income while I am job hunting. Unfortunately I had to leave my career unexpectedly due to incessant racism and discrimination.

I have looked into DoorDash (doesn’t seem all that worth it when you start doing the numbers), Fiverr, and I’m currently looking into maybe selling on Etsy.

My main concern is how competitive the current job market is and how long job searches are taking. I would like to at least have a trickle of something coming in.

Thank you for any suggestions in advance!

If you have evidence of systemic racism and discriminations, I'd suggest a lawsuit as a generous secondary source of income.

Thank you, began that process!

I've seen the food delivery apps work for people in urban environments, where everything is close together in packed blocks, and they can minimize transportation expenses by riding things like ebikes, electric scooters, and electric unicycles.

You are absolutely correct in that it's difficult to make any money with those otherwise, if you're stuck with a car. Fuel and wear and tear are going to eat most of anything you make.

Best of luck with your job search.

Ok this confirms what I was thinking. Thank you for being my sounding board on this!
