I'd recommend Hades. It's a bit of a time sink, I've yet to fully complete it even though I have tens of hours in that game. The game is based around greek mythology. You have to escape the underworld from your dad Hades, with the help of the Greek gods on Olympus. Because escaping the underworld is quite tricky, you'll die often and have to start another escape. But even when you die, the story progresses. You'll carry over some stuff from the previous run which will make you stronger, and the many characters will have something new to say, progressing the story. Every run is unique, and even after the many hours I've played I still keep hearing and finding new things.

I'd love a small phone like this. Sadly it's a bit more expensive than I'm intending to pay for any smartphone, and my current phone is also still fine.

I'm having the same issue. The app is extremely buggy as well, and the incompatibility with older lemmy instances also doesn't help either. For now I've switched mostly to the web version, but on my phone that's quite a bit slower

I definitely do. The internet has become almost unusable without one. I wouldn't mind one ad every now and then when reading articles or watching YouTube video's. If that supports the creators without me having to pay, it'd be an okay compromise to me. The problem is how greedy they've become. Many webpages are an ad-ridden hellhole. Watching YouTube in the app interrupts you constantly with ads. And to top it all off they track your every move. Privacy is dead without an adblocker. For a long time I was in camp "watch ads to support creators", but the greed in the ad industry has absolutely destroyed that goodwill many years ago.

That turn is one of the turns that I struggle with the most (over all F1 tracks) in the games. Somehow I always lose time there to the AI, and if I try to go faster I spin. The track is otherwise quite straightforward, so I guess it's not too bad to have one challenging corner

Not too surprised that Nyck is under pressure tbh. Alpha Tauri picking up Nyck was already a bit of a surprise for me, since they have quite some talent at the ready. His Monza race was amazing, but I think people extrapolated a bit too much from that one race.

As a Dutchman I do hope that Nyck manages to turn this around though. Having two Dutch drivers in F1 is very cool

Honestly I'm not really a big fan of any driver in particular. As a Dutchman I obviously support Max, and I think it's great to see a Dutchman perform this well in F1. Beyond that, I can cheer for most of the drivers. Some drivers I like and cheer for in particular next to Max are Alonso and Albon. But upsets like Ocon winning the Hungaroring also never fail to make me happy.

Yeah this is definitely a good mentality to become a better person. I'm still struggling a bit with wanting to do everything perfectly, which causes me to stop doing it. But I've started getting more success with just telling myself they "anything is better than nothing".

I used to not really do any sports and eat whatever I felt like. In the past few years I've started turning it around by picking up running and trying to eat better. If I would've expected perfection in either of those, I would've quit within a month. But by being proud of every good decision I make, however small it is, I managed to keep it going and changed my health for the better.

To be honest, I disagree. It'd be logical if that was true, because that's what you'd expect, but I've met plenty of counterexamples. People who were well educated in some subject and therefore assumed that they know everything better. I've found that for a certain group of people, having a bachelor's or master's degree makes them overestimate their ability massively. Some of them you could at least partially convince with facts, but I've also met a few of them who has gone completely off the deep end. Well educated doesn't always mean intelligent

Honestly I don't really know what I'd pick. I bought the Nokia when I was a student, and now that I have a job I'd probably go for something slightly more expensive. But I'd still not really go beyond 500 euros I think.

EDIT: Seems like it was real after all.

Yeah imo it definitely sounds a bit sus as well. It sounds weirdly clean compared to his other communication, has no video (unlike most other communication that I've seen), and although I don't speak Russian the pauses in his speech and the way he's speaking in the recording in general feel off. It could totally be real, but it does feel very convenient that he just stops like this with help from Lukashenko of all people. We'll see soon enough though.
