Video by Fifty from the Northstar Discord.
They probably saw that it barely got used compared to the other two options (which makes sense) and then probably decided to remove it to free up UI space or some BS.
Like just because something doesn't get used a lot, doesn't mean it's not valuable/useful in the cases when it is being used...
Having to beat some retro game sounds like a hilarious form of captcha, haha
10-15 minutes? For me it's like 5-8 :>
Personally I like the custom CSS each subreddit could apply but to each their own I guess.
Yeah, kbin calling "subreddits" "magazines" is one of the reasons I went for lemmy (despite the main devs questionable ideologies). For someone migrating from reddit the community == subreddit analogy makes more sense than magazine.
Very much so, yes :D
You can see the live server count here: https://northstar.tf/servers/
While the playerbase is smaller then vanilla, there's a server browser instead of matchmaking so joining a server is instant as long as there's one running gamemodes you like ^^
To join, simply head to https://northstar.tf/ pick a launcher of your choosing (or install manually) and you should be off to the races. If you have any questions, feel free to hmu. I'm one of the devs :P
This trailer is over a year old, just trying to fill the community with some content to kickstart it :P
Thanks for your continued work and effort <3
Comment to test federation
Same with https://lemmy.world/c/titanfall
https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected] works
https://lemmy.world/c/titanfall does not and gives a 404
And similarly when going via feddit.de, i.e. https://feddit.de/c/[email protected] I can see the community but only 1 out of the 2 posts.
I think OP comment and my issue are related. What can we do to help investigate this? I was planning on moving over a community from reddit and this is unfortunately blocking it. If I can help in any way to figure this out and resolve it, I'd be more than happy to do so <3
Any plans on moving to a different platform like lemmy here? Or is it something that might just happen organically?
