I had thought so too. Apparently there have been a bunch of false reports on them being involved in fighting. Which makes sense, because their involvement in this conflict was entirely political theater to begin with - they were sent over to try and scare the western allies into backing down or else risk a wider global conflict. USA and others called their bluff and the NK soldiers have been sitting in Russia ever since. They can't fight and they almost certainly don't speak any Russian or have enough translators to be an effective assault force in a combat scenario.
Yep, that's pretty much it. I look at the results of the election and wonder why we bothered to fight so hard to save America from it's own worst impulses. There's never a shortage of people willing to vote against their own self-interest. The second coming of Trump could, and should, be a new era of social Darwinism that cleans up the clueless electorate with some hard fucking times. People who are withdrawing from politics right now and "tuning out" are just focusing on not being a casualty, and I can't blame them. At some point, you have to let the drowning person go or they'll drag you down with them.

To be clear, I do not think that the law is fair or just, nor do I think that it's application to Hunter in such a high profile case was warranted, but two wrongs don't make a right. Republicans applying political pressure to Hunter Biden does not give Joe Biden carte blanche to be a hypocrite without some strong condemnations from people like myself.
The one thing I've learned from this thread is that nobody believes in objective justice. Trump supporters will say Trump's felony convictions were politically motivated, Biden's supporters will say Hunter's felony convictions were politically motivated, and everybody is perfectly happy to discount witness testimony or a jury's verdict so long as it suits their own subjective sense of justice, that as long as "their team" is winning, it's right and just and fair.

I got mine done almost two years ago. I think it will be two years in March. My partner and I are 100% sure we never want to do the pregnancy thing and are like 95-99% sure we don't want kids at all. If we ever change our minds on that front, there are orphanages full of kids of all ages just waiting for a loving home and I don't expect that will change any time soon in this cruel world so we've got plenty of time to have a family when we want one, and in the meantime, I don't want any accidents.
Plus, getting to rawdog my girl whenever I want is a huge bonus!
