Help, I've somehow landed in a simulation of this weird place I can't leave. My CMD Window is broken. There's weird people in socks here screaming about all sorts of crazy shit. Like how the celestial FBI is looking for them so they need to hide behind their face so they will not be found And extradited.

Then there's weird people acting like they own this place. Like they own us. They want me to swallow these weird round things. When I don't take them they force me to.

I can't leave this simulation. Someone help pls. Can someone connect to my system and reactivate my CMD Window?

I've learned to never set your vagina-world-simulator to random from this. Pls help

Hey fellow people,

Like the title says, I'm feeling depressed again after 2 years of euthymia. Lithium was doing its job perfectly. To be honest it's still doing its job, this depression is managable compared to prior episodes. I can distract myself from the bad thoughts when talking with people or reading a book which is really nice.

Hopefully I'll be able to hold down my job through this

And I'm looking for a light novel that is similar in the heavy psychological themes. End of Evangelion Movie is also close to what I'm looking for.

Preferably it doesn't have like 15 volumes, looking for a rather short one. But that's not so important, as long as it's psychological And covers themes of ego, consciousness etc.

And if so, why or why not?

Is it the setting, the way it is written, the themes, or the illustrations, or a combination of them?

Do you read 'regular' books as well?

I was watching Anime for a long time already, picked up a manga here and there but I didn't really enjoy them. It felt like there was so little story and I could finish one in under an hour. So I gave up on Manga.

I watched So I'm a Spider, So What?/ Kumo desu ga, nani ka? when it started airing and it hooked me instantly. Her character. The world. The comedy. Everything. (Except the humans...).

Once it was over, I wanted more. And since everyone kept saying the Light Novel is way better, especially the human side, I bought the first 3 volumes.

It was amazing. I binge read them until I had to wait for the English releases. Right now I'm waiting for vol. 16 to be available again so I can finish this series.

I was just wondering, since I only read books that I physically possess.

eBooks aren't my thing.

Do you read rips or buy the ebook/book officially?

So, after 9 1/2 hours of working In a kitchen I was on my way home. I took off my shoes and socks because my feet hurt.

I get on the tram. A few seats next to me a woman sat, loudly talking on the phone.

The call ends and she sees me, being Barefoot. She starts loudly berating me for my disgusting toe nails, and the dirt under my nails etc. At this point I notice that she seems off somehow. Other people start chiming in that my feet are fine and that she should mind her own business. This continues for another 5 minutes, I'm making snarky remarks. I honestly didn't care about her, just being tired after 13 hours awake. Some other things she said:

typical German thing, Turks and Arabs would never do that (she was of Turkish origin).

The hairs on my feet are disgusting.

Ithe other passenger start exiting the tram, it's just us two now basically. I put on my headphones completely ignoring her. She stands up and sits directly in front of me. I take off my headphones.

I ask her if she has bipolar disorder. She asks me if I doe. I say yes. She says she has it too. I say that she seems manic. She agrees. She nearly starts crying and apologizing . I say it's fine, because I realized early on and that I know she didn't mean to harrass me, I can relate.

We talk a bit about bipolar stuff. I tell her I just came from work and my feet hurt, that she's right I should cut my toe nails. She asks me what I work, I tell her I work in a kitchen In a refugee camp.

She starts crying and apologizing again. We exchange names and I have to get off the tram. Once outside I wondered wtf just happened.

That's my very weird random story I experienced on Saturday.
