These summaries are usually decent from what I’ve seen but this one misses out some important information. The fourth and fifth paragraphs of the summary make no sense without the context that the athlete was disqualified for a false start and then still allowed to run.
So great to see Mead back on the team sheet too!
What a goal! Thanks for posting it here!
Not OP but it could be ProtonDB for Steam:
I personally haven’t used these myself but if you have Decky installed on your Steam Deck I can recommend the ProtonDB Badges plugin!
It's me, hi, I'm the OP it's me!
Okay references aside, I'm indeed happy to answer questions about the game! Since my post they actually released an option to add your own music via a level editor which is cool. It does require you to have your own mp3s, to know the BPM of those songs and to have more patience than I have but it's a nice idea at least!
I recently also learnt that the game is basically made by just one guy which I find very impressive considering how polished it feels.
So I've done this exact thing when a BIOS update failed and left my computer bricked. I remembered having to remove a header from the cap file but I couldn't remember the exact size of the header so I went searching and found the exact post that helped me at the time: https://superuser.com/a/679461
I went back and compared the files I used and it does indeed look like I just had to remove 2kb from the start of the cap file and then I was able to flash it.
It's been 4 years since I've done this so I unfortunately don't remember all the details but hopefully that's somewhat helpful at least!
The largest questionable stain (gh4, gh5) is actually revealed to be The Ooze from the 1995 Sega Megadrive / Genesis game of the same name
Totally understandable to be honest! As I’ve gotten older I’ve felt like I have less time to invest in games and before getting a Steam Deck I was barely playing anything.
Games on a trip with no internet sounds ideal though, I hope you have a good time!
I actually hadn’t seen that community, there was an older one than I’m a part of but it’s not as active so thanks for sharing! My wallet will also suffer in solidarity 😅
Haha, I guess I'm glad to be an influence for better or worse! I would say Crypt of the Necrodancer is less of a traditional rhythm game and more of a game where you act on the beat but it offers a lot of gameplay if you're into that. I find it satisfying in a similar way at least! Do you have any rhythm games you can recommend?
Insane that he doesn’t have at least one already
