It is absolutely huge

It means that you can make supercapacitors which have larger energy storage density than our current batteries by who knows how many times

It matches and it's not an article but a research paper.

It's like we can't do both

Doesn't mean we have to burn fossil fuels. Ethanol is cool as fuck. Less range but more power and you can make it with various methods.

As for bicycles, I cycled for many years and worked at a bicycle shop. Their "gearbox" design is horrible. Their durability is tragic. For commute I am using electric scooter now, much less reliability issues. I hate the tires on bicycles and scooters though, seriously need to get tubeless.

It is suspiciously perfect size.

It's an office computer. More or less it is a requirement.

I personally use firefox.

Is it less reliable though?

  1. Before any restoration

  2. After acid dip

  3. After refinishing .

So, since I am living in a country with lots of anow and salt, rust has always been an issue for me. I started researching how to rustproof the bolts, because there is nothing worse than a rust-welded grade 10.9 bolt that had its head snapped lol.

All steel bolt rust proofing methods I've seen are based on creating a layer between the steel and oxygen. But the way the layer is made varies wildly:

  1. Oxide based coat
  2. Carbon based coat
  3. Metal based coat
  4. Oil based coat
  5. Paint based coat

For example there is a technique that is called "Oil Burn" where you get the bolt red hot and dip it into motor oil. There are various issues with this technique, which I will explain in a later post.

With your suggestions I will make a spreadsheet with various pros and cons listed and will share with the community.

As to prove I am serious about this, here are my current experiments: Before:

After:

Images look blocky on my phone while using liftoff, I am unsure if everyone else is experiencing something similar

Many hold strong beliefs and opinions, however not many know the roots of their belief. If a person agrees to explore it, both of you will learn something new and fascinating. The problem is finding someone who wants to think and ask the questions. This goes for both. Many want to "convince" someone, but how much do you truly know about the thing you're trying to prove?

This also comes back to the "why?" game so many kids play. Parents get annoyed by it, but are they really annoyed at the game or their lack of knowledge depth? Play the game, find out how deep you lake of knowledge goes

My solution was: a lot of heat Used my propane torch and to protect brake lines, I covered them with my welders gloves, because I couldn't find any plumbers mats. Each bolt took around 5-10 minutes of constant heating and then serious impact gun action, but I got there :)

I am working on my integra's front suspension, but 3 bolts are rust welded. My impact gun managed to get one off, but the others wont budge. I hit them so much that the impact bit got too hot to the touch. Sprayed with penetrating fluid, hit it with a hammer etc.

My only other option is heat, but the problem is, that it's a wheel well and it traps heat, not to mention there is a brake hose which is very close to the area I will be heating.

How can I contain my propane torch heat to this specific bolt without damaging other areas?

3 cylinder engines are very unbalanced. Wouldn't making the middle cylinder bigger improve the balance of the engine?

I was wondering about the future of Lemmy and content that is hosted here. As I understand, Lemmy support for videos is limited as of right now. Why not use Peertube to host the videos people upload on Lemmy?

Both Lemmy and Peertube use ActivityPub and by having Lemmy content on Peertube we would have an actual competitor to youtube
