Fwiw I'm a gun guy who supports common sense legislation and whatever it is we are talking about here ;) not defending corpos that's for fucking sure. V for vendetta becoming a history movie would be fine with me. Also fuck uvalde cops and republicans who say "now is not the time to discuss gun laws"

Definitely, but he was the one with the campaign that was named, or became known as "the war on drugs," unless I'm tripping

I have heard of this. I remember reading once that sailing ships used hemp for their cloth because it was plentiful and durable. No idea where I saw that though

That is a bit older than Reagan, war on drugs is a Nixon thing, but I agree with the general sentiment. Fuckem both.

Gave humanity the ole switcheroo

For me it's a preference.

The sentiment in question is a response to someone else being weirded out and posting it online.... No one is seeking validation lol they're asserting that it's normal.

People who act creepy and take videos or pictures of someone out doing something alone and posting it online are the weird ones.

This context should be obvious

No, the wrong one is to do nothing.

But whatever I guess optics and decorum are more important than protecting citizens and the integrity of our democracy....

Insert padme meme here

Use the blanket immunity the SCOTUS handed to the president to stop it from happening for a fucking start. What an easy question to answer lmao
