Gear is always such a personal choice, and he probably knows more about what he needs than I do, but as somebody with bad ankles, an ASO brace is a necessity. He may want to bring one along just in case one of the guests sprains or twists an ankle. At least for me that can be the difference between taking 3 hours to get to the trail head and taking 6 hours.
You'd break the world economy, but all debt would be erased worldwide... I can't decide if the 3 years of Weimar republic levels of suffering for everybody is worth removing all current debt suffering. I guess you'll go down in history at the very least
This is Little Crazy Horse Canyon very close to Goblin Valley State Park. This, along with the park, is one of my absolute favorite places in Utah, and when not flooded is a very easy and safe hike.
In order to not contribute to some idiot killing themselves I would like to make very clear, this canyon was flooded not flooding. If there is any risk of rain, please please, please, do not go into a slot canyon. A cool experience is not worth dying for. (Though it would be a cool way to die...)

How can you simply learn about a fact that doesn't effect your life and just move on!? Get angry, be horrified, buy a weirdly long picket sign and go to every pride parade to express your discomfort and let it putrefy into a deeper bigotry

It's hard to have this argument without coming across as advocating for eugenics, but I completely agree. The fact that increasing women's education is so strongly correlated with decreased population growth is not a coincidence.

The difference between a eugenicists and whatever the hell I am is that I think the solution is to educate more people, not to control their right to reproduce.
