I'm more of a commenter than the type to post articles I've read - but I'm curious what everyone thinks about this situation. To me, it's 1) practically an admission of guilt because an innocent person would expect to be vindicated and it would help them win in an election and 2) another attempt to obstruct justice because he's hoping a Republican (or himself) would be president after the election and pardon him.

Thoughts?

Highly recommend the Bulwark Podcast Presents: The Corruption of Lindsey Graham.

It's fascinating how he presciently described the danger of Trump for our democracy and then became a boot licker.

One of Reddit major shareholders is Advance Publication. Advance Publication is a parent company to Conde Nast. Conde Nast is a parent company to Wired.

It's like Russian dolls but it all comes back to the same investment group.

You know, I don't think I mattered that much to Reddit at large. I mostly lurked and occasionally posted.

But I don't need Lemmy to be as sprawling as Reddit.. The people are nice, the topics are interesting, and I'm finding instances that I want to subscribe to every day.

I'm ok with it.. Reddit can burn or just go on without me. I'm happy here.

This is good advice. I was very sad about losing rif but I've been having a wonderful time finding new communities on Lemmy.
