Love AEW. Have no desire to play the game. They simply have spread themselves too thin trying to match the size of that other wrestling company too fast.

The video game also feels way more like a money grab to me. AEW was started because of people’s love of pro wrestling and wanting an alternative. The video game launched with day 1 dlc. It is just doing the opposite of what the core of AEW is / was.

Tony has no idea how to book Shida even though she’s probably top 3 most talented women on the roster.

It could also be that Hayter’s injury threw off what plans they had but it really seems Tony is stuck on DMD / Hayter being the people against The Outcast.

I’m not opposed to Toni Storm with the belt. She’s been a breath of fresh air with her interviews and overall reign so far, but there’s just no other feud given any time to develop when really Shida deserves to top star booking too.

Im cautiously optimistic about Lemmy. Short / mid term I’ll be here as it provides probably 90+% of what I was getting out of Reddit. I’m not sure long term how it will work out but so far I have no reason to leave.

I’ve also noticed I just don’t interact with any of it like I used to with Reddit. I used to spend a lot of time just doom scrolling on Reddit. Now I get the highlights of the news, check the sports sun for updates, and then I’m back to the real world. I like that.

Im split on this. I don’t want a ton of bots spamming memes all over Lemmy but I really do want all the articles that are posted from the news subs to make their way over here. The only thing I find useful from Reddit is that. If one bot reposting all the news means thousands of actual users don’t have to engage with Reddit then I think that’s a net positive.

Since joining lemmy I’ve mostly avoided Reddit but during that 24-48hr period where Wagner was revolting against Putin i had to go back to Reddit because their up to minute news feed was posting updates faster than what we have here. If a bot brought all those posts over here I’d be over the moon.

Im sure Microsoft would love to get rid of exclusives. Especially since they’ve had so much trouble shipping theirs.

Sony is the market leader because they have a lot of development studios and actually produce and release games. Microsoft has struggled immensely with their own studios to actually get AAA games out the door. If Microsoft actually capitalized on the multiple years that the PS5 was so hard to get by released good quality AAA exclusives, Microsoft would be the market leader today. They thought they could coast on Halo, Gears, Forza and not release much else and that’s simply not enough when Sony has had so many great exclusives.

Path of Exile is online only as well. Diablo 3 however many years ago was online only too. This genre has been this way for a LONG time now. I understand people would like an offline mode but that fight should have happened 12 years ago if they really cared.

Yes. Only thing I found really useful on Reddit was consolidated news. Nearly everything else was a time waster. I refuse to use their mobile app so I’m not going anywhere. I’ve been saving so much time not mindlessly scrolling on Reddit.

Honestly the only thing missing now is a good app for iOS. However I’ve been using the mobile browser version and it works just fine. I hope Apollo’s dev sees an opportunity here and goes for it.

I know I’m basically done with Reddit. Just waiting for July 1st to make it official. The biggest thing I was missing from Reddit was r/worldnews. Everything else was basically just a time waster. The fact Lemmy has worldnews is all I need to not have to go back.
