It was correctly judged as a racing incident, in my opinion. Sainz was between Hamilton and Piastri. He could maybe have given 30 cm more, but... L1T1 ๐คท

That one was extra spicy
They put him on Hard tyres, but had zero data on it because of the weather Friday and Saturday. It was atrocious, so they pitted him again for softs and he went to overtake-town.
Oh damn, I completely missed the "geophysical" part ๐คฆโโ๏ธ. Sorry!
If I want to build a DIY large (multi thousand liters) stratified hot water tank to store heat for my house for up to a couple of days, what would be your tips for such a system?
And: what is your favorite aspect of fluid mechanics?
Can someone explain too me the intricacies that make tire heaters significant for the cost cap? From the outside, it doesn't seem like a large expenditure...
As far as I have understood, the system just needs data from one rtk station within approximately 10 km to retain 1 cm precision. So if there already is one that close to your home with publicly available data, you might not need any rtk station at all
Yeah, the charging curve is very tilted. From 0-20%, a Tesla will do 250+ kW, so that only takes a couple of minutes. Then the power slowly tapers off, so your typical motorway charging session will be from 6 % to 70 %, and take around 22 minutes.
Such a charging session will typically yield another 2-2.5 hours of driving at 120 km/h, depending on model and conditions.
I highly recommend abetterrouteplanner if you want to play around with very accurate travel planning for almost any EV on the market.
"Happily" even makes the McLaren PR person in the background lose her composure ๐
Post it to their GitHub. Ruud just hosts an instance of it ๐
The point is that channel growth, clicks and interactions as a metric is used more for suggesting videos than relevancy and the likelihood that someone will watch a video to the end.
This creates a click bait arms race between creators.
If you want to do really low investment hot plate soldering, some solder paste, good tweezers and a frying pan with some sand in it is probably good. Just keep an eye on it while heating, and stop when the solder melts
