This will blow back way harder on Israel than America.

Ignoring all politics, logistically this war is a rounding error in the Pentagon's budget. America can and often does absolutely anything it wants to anyone at any point in time - and the only thing stopping it is how it feels about a subject at any given moment.

Israel is tiny and surrounded by enemies who they are pissing off.

For the record I am entirely opposed to Israel committing genocide and America funding it.

This is more of a comment on the efficacy of having several media apparatus boast unified lies without consequences.

The absolute lack of consequences for blatantly lieing, omitting truth, falsifying information, and ignoring reality is why we are in this mess.

This can definitely be applied to both left and right, but the Left master plan seems to be "tolerance for all" and the Right master plan seems to be some hybrid business/monarchy system that obviously is trying to enslave 99% of the population.

This toss up is only possible with half the population living in an alternate reality without realizing it.

The scariest thing about Conservatives is they are getting pressed against reality and the false narrative they cling to as the only possible explanation of reality.

Their lie is so ridiculous and so obviously 'coming from inside the house' that they will now protect it with everything they are.

The only hope is that they accept a conclusion of 'I was right about everything, just the small detail of who was actually responsible needed a single puzzle piece to confirm'.

I'm pending diagnosis for ADHD but if I had to take a stab at it I'd say both groups have tasks they simply can/cannot do without some kind of help or personal system of ways to accomplish any number of things

Something unifying about having obtuse yet ironclad processes for doing things that should be simple and others find baffling

The memes are pretty good here too!

Was surprised at how unbothered the building was by those bombs

I suppose it doesn't matter that the building is still standing if everyone's organs are liquefied.

I can't decide if it's better to leave a strategic position (that's easy to bomb) standing for repeat business, or if levelling the building is the overall better strategy

Either way, those were some accurate strikes!

Oh good, a mild fine worth 1% of the profits 10 years after finding out about it and fighting it in court.

Don't worry, it'll be even less after another decades long appeal

Go into the office and waste every resource you can.

Plug in a fan + heater + aquarium + massage pad at your desk and leave everything on constantly even when you leave

Print every email and throw it in the trash.

Make coffee 50x a day and pour it down the sink

Flush a whole roll of TP every hour

Leave sinks on in the bathroom

Use entire tubs of soap to wash your hands

Turn on the microwave for hours at a time

Heat/cool office thermometer to force HVAC into overdrive

Open new browser windows until your computer crashes and repeat until the network goes down

Company wide meme emails that everyone participates in (team building) that crash servers and dominate inboxes

Pour sugar/crumbs everywhere so there's pest problems

Accept every phishing email

Put USB sticks found on the ground into your work computer

Open the door for strangers who want to get in the building without a badge

FORM A UNION

(nuclear option) introduce bedbugs to all your bosses offices

To be fair, if everything in the system leading up to the school is lead free there should be minimal leeching only happening in the school pipes.

If the pipes in the school have any sediment buildup sequestering the lead from the water there would be little to no leeching.

Definitely looks bad when you say "keep lead pipes in schools" but the reality is still something like "95% of lead removed from water coming out of school taps"

Also, might make schools likely to remove lead pipes if the system is lead free. No point in removing lead pipes from a school if there's +20 miles of lead pipe leading to/from the school

Fuck me do I ever hate landmines.

Obviously fuck Ruzzia, and Ukraine isn't doing anything wrong defending itself in this way.

But there's something entirely different about passive warfare like that.

The footage of drones dropping grenades are pretty brutal too - but for me there's something different between being hunted by a weapon system engaged in active warfare, and the passive indifference of mines.

There's a lot of footage from this war that live rent free in my head, but an especially brutal one was of a Ukrainian soldier(medic?) during the first significant use of western armor counter offensive.

They jumped out of the APC, clearly picking their landing spot, and immediately their leg was blown off by a landmine. You could see them succumbing to shock as they're trying to get a Tourniquet on. Thankfully his buddies immediately loaded him up and left, but it's stayed with me more than any of the others.
