We must always be prepared.

goes to snopes to check the validity of this claim..... Wait...

Is that the case? I remember in the mid 90's scrolling through each entry, usually the urban legends and spooky sections, reading late into the night, occasionally shitting myself because every 15th page had sound effects or midi music.

Over the last 5 or so years I've watched people claim it isn't accurate and can't be trusted anymore, but the people claiming that were always... Well...idiots. Clearly just wanted to chose their own facts.

Do you have a link or something about this more recent development?

Edit: read the wiki page, but yeah, not much about who the new owners are. Just that the original owners are gone. So anyone with an article or other link/source so I can read up.

While it's impossible to know what this shit bag wants, I listened to an interview with some asshole from some conservative think tank and by the end my vibe was this:

America is big and strong. In the past America has played fair to the benefit of everyone. But now America wants to be the biggest and strongest, and everyone else needs to be subservient to the American Masters.

Basically America wants to be a bully by impose tariffs and not having the other countries return the favour. America wants every other country to bend over and take whatever tariffs America wants to impose without consequence

In this perfect world it would allow America to start building up their own companies, forcing consumers to buy American and drive demand for new manufacturing businesses.

Of course this all STILL falls apart with just a few basic questions like "if Canada does not impose counter tariffs (and even if they do) their economy will suffer greatly. Is it important for the USA to have economically healthy allies?" and "Why jack the prices so suddenly without allowing time and investing money in these new business that will be needed?"

“We feel that obviously these guys are being used because they can get off on bail the very next day and that’s what’s happening. And then they re-offend. And that’s what we’re hearing from the police as well. I mean, they’re equally frustrated because they do what they need to do and then these guys are just out the next day,” he said.'

I assumed from the headline it would be standard "we need more cops and harsher punishment" propaganda, but this is not very subtle.

The cops didn't catch them either time nor in the time between. I wouldn't fault them for that without knowing more details, but they did not "do what they need to do." Those criminals were not thrown in jail and out the next day.

We have no idea if these people are out on bail, but they certainly weren't caught by the cops during either of these break-ins.

Cheers. Not as extreme as the bare numbers hint at, still a big difference.

I wonder why that is? Surely rich children have access to guns, (more than average access?) so is it the security at the school? Or is it mental health care? It is that being rich doesn't make you as miserable and desperate as a kid? Hmmm.

Live action/CGI gargoyles trilogy. Period piece (1991 New York) The vibe should be TMNT secret of the ooze. Silver Fox Johnathan Frakes plays the big bad, but not his original role, I'll get a writer's room to figure out his actual link to the situation, revealed at the end of the first movie.

Could end up crossing over with a live action CGI version of the current TMNT mutant mayhem situation, I'm open to it. Maybe The Last Ronan storyline is involved.

I see you have given this some thought.

It's fun but I have such trouble with the controls... My dad is in his 70' s and he tries but I stopped offering.. Big bummer because I love it when I can find games we can enjoy together, but as he gets older he has switched from keyboard and mouse to a controller, and he gets a lot more enjoyment out of games that don't involve quick multi button actions. Though he won't admit it. :(

I just want to jump through the window FFS!!! No don't turn that way hit the zombie!

I'd be up for The Wasp Factory. In the Gothic horror style of "the fall of the house of usher"(Netflix?)

Hey. That 24 vs 392 number, what's the percentages? Like how many private schools VS public are we talking about?

Cause that number without context seems extremely misleading. Not trying to start shit. I just don't know where you got those numbers or where I'd get the totals to compare.

It's a fact that the only thing woman can talk about with each other is men! It's a rule that I heard somewhere, and I keep too it! ~s

But really. The amount of talking and eye contact I do with other women in a public bathroom where I don't know them already starts at "are you in line?" And ends at "no TP in that one."

Agreed. And no yielding! We must stand together, and spread the good word.
