What kind of problems are you seeing? The only issue I had was stuttering but I fixed that with corectrl. I have an AMD GPU and running Wayland if that helps.

Yes I’m using Wayland so I’ll give that a shot.
EDIT: Didn’t work I’ll give sunshine a shot.
I use my Index with Arch and it works just fine. I had to add a SteamVR profile to Corectrl in order for it to use the full GPU though.
Since Elon I don’t think Twitter has been thinking about the long term effects of their actions. Everyone predicted the blue checkmark fiasco but they went ahead with it anyway so this doesn’t surprise me.
I’ve definitely done that like 20 times already on wefwef so having that implemented would be amazing. So far so good though!
