I want my characters to die. I didn't realize until recently how alone I am in this, but the idea of playing a campaign almost more like a roguelite (or maybe a Pokémon nuzlock?) is so appealing to me. I want the consequences to be so real that a decent player might need 2 or 3 backup characters, where a happy ending isn't garunteed in the slightest and the DM is fine to end the campaign in total tragedy. then the victories and successes would feel so much more earned, and campaigns would feel much less like on-rails experiences. plus failures can encourage creativity. a story where everyone just wins each task after the other is boring

I tried that for a minute but it didn't flow for me, now I use an extension (tab stash) that does basically the same thing but ✨prettier✨

some games with anticheat will not work, if the developer didn't check the "allow Linux" button in the anticheat provider

all other games ive found so far work great

he was wrong but you are way overcompensating. if windows suddenly became exorbetantly expensive, most people would just stop using computers altogether (its already easy for many people live with just a phone no PC). The remaining computer users (not counting businesses) would be enthusiasts, who are much more likely to enjoy the tinkering of Linux, or put up with it to avoid exorbetant costs. so without even gaining anymore users, Linux's desktop market share would shoot up.

to be clear I don't think Linux Desktop taking over is imminant or "near future." thats nuts, it will probably always be a niche for enthusiasts and thier families/friends. but its also not going to stay eternally at 2-4%, the user experience is constantly improving and encompassing more hardware.

his partner on stage made a joke about his birthday wish being that next time the trump shooter doesn't miss, and jack cancelled the tour over that. its debatable if this was actually intended to be in service of trump or if jack is just really against assassinations but the end result is that trump benefitted and the duo Tenacious D is no longer doing thier tour
