Should be live by March. Think there are 2 more weeks or PTS? Or 1, and then I think after PTS is done, changes go live in 2 weeks. I don't know if they've said it will be it's own campaign, or if all campaigns will switch to that model (I imagine the first). They have said minimal changes between PTS and live in launch, but plans are in place for some changes in a later patch.
We'll see. I'm very jaded, as PvP has been largely ignored outside of "this set breaks the game, so we're tuning it", and ZOS has struggled with balance since the start. The bigger issue is performance has only gotten worse, which is what the current testing and stuff is looking to help. The issue being, if the PTS is any indication, then performance is going to be great, because the servers will be empty.
Idk, I haven't done it yet. I jumped on PTS just to see the changes and I'm...not confident to say the least. It's supposed to be a stress test, but I haven't seen more than 10 people on at a time, and the combat is great. For dueling. In reality, Cyro is small groups or zergs, most the time. And it's going to be awful when everyone runs the same things. It'd be like if PvE didn't have roles, everyone just brings their own heals, sustain, and damage.
As far as the players, I've heard PC players aren't great compared to console. I imagine part of that is reading the game; no add-ons on console, so people are very adept at reading set procs and the visual cues (not me, I'm tragically blind when it comes to that stuff), where as PC, an add-on is gonna tell you you're plagued, or if you are CC immune, or if you have a bleed, etc. In ball group play, everyone has to know when stuff is happening ahead of time, seeing group movement, people buff and swap bars, find the healers, see barrier rotations, etc.
I'd wager the individual player is maybe better on PC, but the group play is better on console, and that's been the word from others I've known who swapped. The people I'm playing with right now and will group with later are playing in a 4-6 person group, and had been like 350-4 K/D the other night, and that's light comp with no one over 1k CP. On Xbox, we were hella comped with gear, classes, skills, scribing buffs, etc, and ran with 12.
I am leveling a character on PC! PvP group is on hiatus on Xbox and a few jumped to PC to try Cyro out there. Otherwise, it's just bonus mats; my Xbox acc has had 12 event tickets for like 6 years it feels lol. Just have scrying to finish, the scribing affixes (quest line is done), and the need to farm skyshards and like....7 gear set swaps.
Places that don't take it are now considered woke or DEI fronts.
Nah, the yearn for schadenfreude is large. I get it lol. I can't wait for the day I get arrested and I get to flip these people off, if not just to say "I told you so".

To say we are on fire right now is an understatement. We may be closing applications altogether, funding is down like...80% from last year. And we are one of the top performing agencies in the country. There are whispers of layoffs. All my Trump voting family keeps telling me "oh, it won't be you guys, you do good work".
The water is on the ship, and it's up to our neck, and I'm being told that I'm safe from sinking because I'm responsible for mopping and keeping the floors dry, why would I sink?

What's the narrative? If he would have just listened? He had a bad history (innocent people don't need pardoned)? Cops do a dangerous job, there are bound to be grey areas? Idk, take your pick.

Yep! Got mythics able to be scryed now, so it's lead farming, affix farming, gear farming, and CP farming time! But I'm not level gated out of anything now. Just gotta run Stone Garden like 70x for Arkasis and EC (for when I inevitably have to get more trial sets lol). Except then I gotta grind and gear a necro so I can EC those runs, and get damage sets to show a parse, and skill points, and fighters guild for dawnie, and......lol why am I swapping to PC again?
