I've pictured an EV as something you'd treat like a cell phone - once you are home and not using it anymore, you plug it in to charge. Is this what you do, or do you use charging stations? It seems like a great way to avoid standing in the cold pumping gas.

There is a more-or-less constant stream of air moving across the US. This stream of air is pushing the cold air at the north pole up north.

As the earth warms, this stream of air weakens. It can't push the cold air up north, which causes the titty that is the polar vortex to sag ever southwards.

I recently sold two bikes, one that was weird and uncomfortable (but fun) and one that was fun but needed work almost every time I rode it. I bought one new bike that just works and it's been a blast.

Having multiple bikes is only fun for me if I have enough time to ride and maintain them all.

I still remember his Tulsa rally, in one of the reddest states in the US. He got tricked into thinking there would be a million people present. And he bragged on it. But only 6,000 people showed up.

Even if they had the custom 3D printed joysticks?

Protesting is a threat. The problem is, when you don't get what you want, you're supoosed to foklow through on that threat.

For years I've improved frozen pizzas by just adding more mozzarella.

I recently tried some dual-color silk filament. Half the filament is one color, half is another color. It makes cool looking parts that are different colors on each side.

My favorites are the ones who let it pile up so much that trash flows out when the door is opened.

Does an old school washer dryer that runs off timer relays / knobs / push buttons really have a CPU?

Nope, it's just a timer-drive. cam triggering switches. The physical cam IS the CPU.

We have reached a point in time where there are adults who think everything that runs through multiple steps must have a microcontroller, because only really really old machines* do without.

*For the most part. I bought a brand new whirlpool dryer late last year, and it has a mechanical timer in it.

Having a newer machine cost me slightly less money on utilities, and considerably more in washing machine parts.
