I am looking for a community where I can ask for reccomendations on the best software to do "x". Not sure what the best place to ask would be.

edit: I am using windows if there are any platform specific communities.

This is fixed in the latest release of lemmy that just came out.

Unfortunately the new version also removed captchas, so the admin at lemmy.world is waiting for it to be added back in the next release.

Interesting. I think a simple pully system on one end would have made this much easier and controlled. But I guess then you wouldnt be able to see how crazy strong these magnets really are.
