The ven diagram of people who view their political identity as "gamer" and the people who hold the thickness of Tracer's ass as a key issue are very much a circle.

I don't see him bringing up the "dead vote" this time around. Maybe that's because the four or five from last election... went to him.

Looking it up Powell had to be pushed, and it was because he explicitly wanted to fire him. But ignore that. I'll give you 100 percent of that. I'm sure I'm technically wrong on the first paragraph. Infact I'm factually, technically, practically, spiritually, and obviously wrong.

"Also the new nominee won't be a fight" ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................

I live in a world where, even having a majority, congress struggles to tie it's shoe laces. Every few years they break and shut the whole thing down. I don't think our realities match up. I don't think I can see your point, I don't think you can see mine. I don't think we have eyes that can look through the same glass.

So if she turns in a resignation, and harris accepts it.... confirmation fight to find a replacement. If she doesn't accept it... no confirmation fight. And I don't think it's law that they turn in resignations. It's tradition. But that's not relevant, if harris wants rid of her either through firing, or accepting a resignation, it will be one more political fight

I would like to bring up: Out of the 1600 ordered to be removed 162 are in prince William County. That's 10 percent. Someone in the county investigated and found 43 of the 162 voted in the past, around 25 percent. They then investigated those 43 active voters who had been removed under suspicion of being non citizens. Every one of them was able to prove citizenship. They removed 43 active voters for the fear of 0 votes in that county(the 120 or so left haven't ever voted and weren't checked closely in this case). I'd wager that if we spread that to the other 90 percent, we'd likely get a total between 9 and 0 (I may put money on zero). But that's not all. Prince William County is very blue. It should be ground zero for this, according to Republicans, but there are a verified zero non citizen votes from those this implicates. The metrics they used to suspect them is that they filed out a form wrong at some point and checked a non citizen box. 1600 is roughly 1 in 4000 virginia registered voters. You may never make that mistake in your life, but with it being 1 in 4000 I'm actually surprised the false positive rates are so low. They just want the headline 1600 non citizens. There is no proof they removed a single non citizen, and everyone checked in depth was a citizen. If the numbers hold through in other counties they have inconvienced 430 va us citizen active voters to get a headline. Then wasted our tax dollars to re-register them. I'm pissed at Richmond.

.... can you read? She's in place now. When her term runs out she will remain there until the next president nominates someone else. If they do, there will be a fight. Harris DOES NOT NEED TO NOMINATE HER FOR HER TO REMAIN IN PLACE. A confirmation fight happens only if she nominates someone to replace her. Harris doesn't need to nominates her, only not nominate someone else, and she will stay.

"Provoke a confirmation fight" that by itself makes me doubt she's "already gone". Maybe I'll be proven wrong though.

It's the Eric Cartman party. They've been saying things like this for years and a single taste of their own medicine (from an old man who probably didn't mean to give it) and I hear Cartman falling on the ground crying.

There is a sci-fi story called "The stars my destination ". It's a pretty controversial story. The main character is a horrible person who never faces consequences, but you aren't supposed to like him. I've only read the summary myself, but as I understand it some of the bad things he does are only possible because of the ways society keeps women "safe" whether they like it or not.

They copyright claimed it, so it's cannon right?

Except many of the people who wrote it work on his campaign. Nothing to do with it is a lie, because he's hired them.
