The different coloured text might be an indicator that you’re getting an artificial increase to your resistance (i.e., canteen food buffs or decorations) instead of naturally from the armour set.
It’s been a while since I played MHW, but If I recall correctly, you don’t see any numbers on yourself when damaged. You should only see numbers when damaging monsters. The different coloured text on the numbers would just indicate what “type” of damage you’re doing.
White should basically mean “neutral” (not hitting weak points, but not doing reduced damage)
Orange would just indicate that you’re doing increased damage by hitting weak points with weapons or elements that the monster is weak to.
White numbers outlined in blue is a “negative affinity” so you’re doing less than normal damage.
As I mentioned before, there are no specific tiers or milestones on resistances 5/10/15. It works like a gradient, so the higher the number, the better defended you’ll be. 20 is the only amount that comes with a unique effect.
Each point will decrease the damage you receive from that element by 0.5%
When the stat reaches 20 or higher, you will be immune to that element’s “blight”
“Don’t recommend this channel” has been a life saver
The best part is if you squint your eyes, the right image looks like the left image if you weren’t squinting, and the left image looks even better while doing it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t a good game. Everything is ridiculously time consuming, buggy, and slow for no reason. Painstaking attention to detail on insane things nobody will ever see or care to look at (like horse balls shrinking in cold weather) is not a good enough reason to be considered a good game.
I just want the “auto hide on read” feature back in my life again
Try using Safari and an extension called “AdGuard”
It’s not the exact same, but it’s better than nothing.
