And also the whole culture of teaching hate, fear, vindictiveness, selfishness, violence, exclusion, ignorance, discrimination, etc. Everything they teach and stand for is in stark opposition to everything the person they’re named after taught and stood for. You don’t need churches or institutions or pastors to live the way Jesus told people to live. None of it needs organization at all. The organization of religion, including Christianity, is nothing more than an authoritarian political weapon.

While consumers can benefit from falling prices, persistent deflation can also lead to a downward spiral for spending and investment.

This seems like an absolute win.

But it won’t. The word “Christian” doesn’t mean “a person who follows the teachings of christ”, it just means you’re a member of a hyper-authoritarian political club.

I try to live the way Jesus demanded people live. It’s very humanist, almost buddhist, even. But I would never, ever call myself “Christian” because it stands for the opposite of everything Jesus stood for. It’s very decidedly anti-christ.

You opened them all, but then saw an ad for a weighted blanket and then spent four hours reading about the science behind weighted blankets, then closed the browser when you got up to make some coffee.

But you forgot why you were in the kitchen and remembered that you were googling about ADHD and memory…

The FOV is also broken on all cutscenes for any display that isn’t 16:9… which is weird, because gameplay is just fine. It’s almost like the folks who worked on gameplay and the folks who worked on cutscenes were from completely different companies.

Given that Nintendo does this sort of thing routinely and, possibly, for sport… no, it is not obvious.

In grim twist, billionaire-owned corporation publishes propaganda to skew public discourse before the masses realize they have the power to turn against them.

Ok, not actually grim or a twist. Like the original article.

Jury nullification is a Constitutional Right.

Not that the US Constitution is worth a damn in 2024.

Brian Thompson was a mass murderer. It’s not hard to understand why people wouldn’t want to help, here.
