Same kind of thing was said by my Life Skills teacher in high school.

"The only thing you HAVE to do in life is die."

Before I start in on the Leviathan box, I wanted to test this color scheme. Kinda ended up going with the default black to red for the claws and such. Also debated whether to do green or yellow for the eyes.

But what's that he's holding?

Tried something a bit different with these guys. Started with a black printer, with a Grey Seer zenithal over top, and then a pure white dry brush.

Over that, my new favorite contrast paint, Imperial Fist, to get the majority of the model done, with a black wash to dirty it up, and make edges and creases stand out more.

Definitely could spend another 20 hours refining all the details and making the armor look better, but for what I wanted out of a fairly quick paint job, I'm happy with these results.

Hey now, is that "Eldar" out there looking for "Retribution"? ;)

Trying to get these lads done by Wednesday, for my next Crusade game. Taking advantage of using a lot of Contrast paint and washes. At the point of picking out all the detail bits.

That's -exactly- what I painted it to look like! :)

Yep, that's the Primal Broozer Boss on Dogosaur A.

Lead off with a turn 1 Waaagh. I was going second so the 5+ inv save helped mitigate losses, also with how deployment worked out, I'd have some charges lined up unless he pulled back (he didn't).

The big alpha strike took out the bikers, tank, the dwarves on the building, and most of another unit.

Without the inv save, the Votann that were still alive were able to put the hurt onto the Boyz and start whittling down the Beastboss on Squigosaur. In the end, the Dwarves won that side of the field, but with 3 objectives stickied and the Meganobz and Beast Snagga Boyz on their way, I was able to snag the win on VPs.

Posted the little squig, Matrix, earlier, but here's the rest of the Beastboss done. :)

Had an idea when painting the little squig on a Beastboss. Do you get the reference?
