Yeah, my husband and I stopped using Amazon years ago, and this is what we did. You can just Google anything you need to buy and then order it straight from the manufacturer.

This year I did dip my toe back into Amazon because I discovered we get a free Prime account through our cell phone provider, but I only use it for when I need something guaranteed delivery by a certain date. For everything else, I just go to a store's web site.

I usually completely forget I even have an account when I'm searching for stuff I need to buy.

Yup! I also was able to do it using the browser!

This happened to my bestie just now when I screencapped that it had worked for me and told him about it.

I wonder what the difference is? Maybe its regional?

Edit: He figured his out. He placed the order through Amazon but it was delivered via USPS. Maybe that's the issue?

Bought a Jackery a few years ago for camping purposes, and I love it. We've never drained it completely from 100% charge. It had been sitting in the house, off for months, and we needed it this past weekend for camping. Pulled it out on TGiving day to find it was still @ 77%. Couldn't find the charger because we recently moved, but we had the solar panels. It was charged back up to 100% within a few hours, which shocked me.

Its definitely overpowered for what we currently use/need it for, but we also lived through the 2021 Snowpocalypse in Texas, so I reasoned that it would come in handy if we ever ran into a similar situation again.

Airport bars are always offering shots with their beers. Like every time Ive sat at one.

Another place that comes to mind are the little hotel convenience stores in Vegas casinos. Usually those are a tall boy of shitty cheap beer and then you can select an airplane bottle of liquor to go with it for a "combo deal".

Do we have the same dad?

Edit: Actually we cant be related, because this describes both parents, my little brother, and all my aunts/uncles/cousins, and grandparents and you said "One person".

Well, as someone who adores horror movies of all styles from pure camp to serious, and as someone who feels hella nostalgia for MD, I thank you for putting The Bay on my radar!

My husband is a super cinephile though, so Im super hell be interested in the others (provided he hasnt already seen them).

I grew up on the East Coast of the United States. MD and FL to be specific. Going to the beach was a regular thing in our household, whether it was the Chesapeake Bay or the Atlantic Ocean somewhere in West Palm Beach. My grandad has a house on the actual bay. Grew up spending every family gathering there. The adults would visit/catch up, and us kids would be in the water. I was NEVER scared of the water.

Then, as a young adult, Im sitting at an inprocessing for a base in Okinawa, Japan, and the briefer is going over local hazards in the region.

I had never heard of the Blue Ringed Octopus before.

And from that moment on, I became terrified of things in the ocean.

My husband always laughs about that story because its rare that they even make it into the waters around Oki, but that genuinely really was the moment that my brain was like "Omg, you have to worry about more than sharks in the ocean."

I'm thinking its less to create drama, and more to be like "So he doesn't have a mandate then, to do all this bad shit he wants to do."

Its no longer being billed as "Landslide victory! Americans clearly want bigotry!"

My husband and I had one going for a little over a week before the lockdowns as well. I just kinda lost interest in it.

Kudos to your dedication!
