Too late to meaningfully join any of them.

If the money involved is enough to ensure they are not poor and legal protections exist, should there still be such a ban?

Yes, when it's the product of apprenticeship, where there is a clear gain, without loss in other areas of education. As to the amount of time it takes from childhood, the matter is less clear, as it is within societies that permit cram schools. But if you allow one, then you can allow the other.

Hotlink protection (self.pixeldrain)

When a link to Pixeldrain is posted in Lemmy, it looks like all instances will grab a copy of the picture. This can be 30-50 servers going for it in the space of a minute or two. This is triggering Pixeldrain's hotlink protection. So is Lemmy and Pixeldrain currently suited for each other?

I top it off with the expensive muesli that has the crystallised fruit.

Continued - To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem.

It would have to be always active, checking for radiation induced flips, not just powered off.

Looks politically motivated. Has Piraattipuolue commented?

Oslo. Yesterday. Norway is playing life on easy mode. Massive oil & lithium reserves. NATO. Far North in a hot World.

All of this may beg the question: What add-ons would we like to see?

One that doesn't exist is QOI Viewer that would render the Quite OK image format into a png for Firefox to display.

😄Those contributions are something to brag about.

the ones that I actively use: Rotate and Zoom Image; Image extract; SVG Export; Simple mass downloader; PassLok Image Steganography; Color Changer; Save Screenshot; Behind the Overlay Revival

those that work in the background: Redirect AMP to HTML; Chameleon; JPEG XL Viewer; + the usual blockers & security

This page with it's pair of key pairs has been up since the end of 2003 at least. So if you want to encrypt a test post everyone can read - try these.

The 10k limit (lemmy.world)
submitted 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) by Antimutt to c/gpgpractice

There is the Lemmy 10,000 character limit for posts to contend with. To test longer we could rely on file storing sites. But there is a way to do it through Lemmy alone.

I've a big one for thanatos. It's in the picture. But the trick is how to whip it out.

My own public key isn't far away. Good luck. Edit: name of mod fix'd, sorry!

So here's this nice hedgehog, that my neighbour posted earlier. But they forgot that PostImage does not remove the gps data. Lemmy does this for you when it stores images. Of course, you can clean it, or change it, yourself with the likes of Exif Pilot. As for myself, I will be speaking to you all just as soon as I have got The Budget ready.

Out of the packet with a divot taken out. Makes it look just the same size. I'll be comparing weight in future.
