Your house must be very small, quiet or have thin walls. That, or you didn't get bothered by babies crying in their rooms.

It's a shame that younger people, who are struggling with economy and have generally less money, can only buy older cars that need twice as much fuel as a newer, efficient model (or ev that can be zero emission, depending on source of electricity), but also pollute three times as much.

I don't know who shell is trying to fool. No one, especially young people will ever think buying petrol is cool so they should do it more. It's something they hate to do as there is often little choice.

By actors, I meant lead talent, aka stars. All secondary actors and extras get paid peanuts compared to main cast.

I would say also ST-TNG, but the age of the show might make it difficult to get into.

It's accurate but do note this is studio revenues, not profits. From this huge pie, some huge chunks will be taken away by actors, production costs, marketing, licensing etc.

Still, studio profits are significantly larger that this chart will look similarly imbalanced.

Going by the quality of GPU and prices they have been launching at, I'd wager there is a secret agreement between Nvidia and AMD.

5 years ago they would try to give better value with each generation, faster cheaper and more available. That competition got us the gems like gtx970, gtx1060, rx480/590 and rx5700.

Now we have to choose between overpriced or nerfed hardware like 4050, rx6500, 4070ti or 7700xt.

And that's how you go from being married to losing your house and half of all assets.

You're supposed to stick with each other through thick and thin. Yes she made mistakes but so did he. Trusting everything on your partner without regularly discussing the status is a big risk, that backfired this time.

Didn't know buffalo was a verb.

Why not Zoidberg?

I disagree with you on that. Living in Norway, the small house I bought 9 years ago used electric panel heaters, about 1000w in every room and 2000w in living room. I changed that shit out with a heat pump and small oil radiators in bedrooms.

My heating bill first few months after upgrade was nearly 30% lower than before, despite colder months (oct-nov vs feb-mars).

Given the difference in cost of electricity back then, I paid off my heat pump in 7-8 years. With recent pricing, it would be 5 years.

New Dehli "walked into this fiasco" by having their hitmen assassinate a Canadian in Canada.

80 years ago people would have said the same thing about listening to music or watching what's on TV 40 years ago.

It was unthinkable to have personal music that you could freely choose because everyone listened to radio, together, in a room.

And before the birth of portable media devices and streaming, everyone watched what's on the TV that day.

We've already lost a lot of collective feeling that previous generations had.
