May I suggest that whatever drugs you are on are probably dosed too high and you should seriously consider taking less.

Except, this post is supposed to be from your sober self. Then you should take more.

That's a sentence I did not expect I would gain the misfortune to read - ever.

Uuuurgh, no. That is... wrong on so many levels, it's almost fractally wrong.

In both systems, participants compete for fastest growth, but that's about it for similarities.

water-based ice

Is that like regular water ice, but extra based? 😂

My point is that this kind of language padding (by the bbc) cracks me up.

(Yes, I know other kinds of solids are called ice - but they are also not '-based', they just are [and also irrelevant in this context])

Well, the 6th of May was probably okay in Germany. The news must have impacted on the 7th and I imagine that day was rather unpleasant for those within earshot of a certain bad-tempered dictator.

😆

Knowyourmeme

That link sums up about 60% of what I heard about it and was 60% complete news for me. (And yes these intentionally add up to 120%) I thought 'tbh' stood for 'to be honest', but now I am no longer sure.

8 weeks after posting this, I still have no idea what is going on in that meme. There is apparently no consistent story behind the creature, it is constantly transmuted and memed further. Apparently at some early stage it got adopted by an autism community for reading as autistic(?) and gained a friend 'btw' or 'by the way' that is interpreted as ADHD.

Some people hate it, it seems, claiming tbh projects infantilisation of autistic people. I don't agree, but I don't really want to fight them over it. I just think it's cute and one should pick the headcanon they like and ignore the rest.

They did it.

Ouch. You just broke something in my brain.

Same reason, too.

Maybe someone with graphic design skills can redo this one?

I can't put my finger on it but this looks sus as hell... too perfect to be true.

... , because it feels like sentiment clarification must be included and tone tags and emoji can't cover all possible ways a reader might find to still misinterpret a statement. (or the statement carries a hidden meaning that I never realize existed, or I have made a fool of myself for accidentally quoting something someone has said in a completely unrelated situation and somehow I still think providing more context would fix that)

I can understand the confusion since I own mostly the same color and texture clothing.

(Sorry, can't upload the diagram directly. I mean, I could, but then I could not have the link to the site in the title)

I found neurodivergentinsights to be helpful in general. And useful personally for ruling out other conditions that also overlap with Autism.

For me it depends on ambient temperature, which is sensorically acceptable.

Adding to that: Even being raised bilingual just means I can forget words in two languages simultaneously.
