So you're basically saying wait until the lemmy user base grows and see if the dev drops the price. That would lead to a lot of the OG buyers getting angry.

Yeah? The reddit app isn't that smooth, mine jitters and lags every now and then but enough to annoy me. Using a S23U too so it's not like I don't have the power to run it.
I have mine attached to my keys as well as a pocket sized tape measure and box cutter. All these have come in handy so many times.
As for the phone torch situation, yeah that's a valid point to but most of the time I need something much more powerful or don't want to get my phone dirty.

I've been inactive on reddit for a week now and before that less and less.
It's nice to have an app that runs smoothly and doesn't stutter or jitter while scrolling and navigating through lemmy.
Huge sync fan and pro user for many years now but I couldn't get over the subscription and especially the one off cost, it's just too much.
Been using infinity for reddit as soon as sync went down and it's easily my favourite app out of all that's available but it's not without it's downsides, at least to me. So I'll happily use inifity for lemmy from now on, it even seems to run better then the reddit app lol.
