Everything lower decks has done with DS9 has been gold and I'm waiting for Basheer and Garak and whatever Nog and Jake are up to most of all.

In this day and age two dudes can't have some kind of interesting relationship without "relationship" immediately meaning they somehow have to be gay and into each other romantically.

But Andrew Robinson has been pretty open about the fact that he played Garak as being sexually attracted to Bashir, and DS9 writer, Robert Hewitt Wolfe, has said that he had that in mind when writing scenes between the two characters.
People are posting fan fiction of them together? That's disgusting! Where? I need to make sure I avoid it.
