The headline is confusing. I thought that it was saying that "greedflation" is a myth that the readers should not "buy" as in "beleieve."

Instead, it means that consumers should not "buy" products because it reinforces and valudates greedflation.

Maybe I was the only one confused by that, but I figured I would share.

I shared that same confusion. "Buy into" is a pretty common way to say "believe"

And then the next half seems like a reason not to believe that greedflation exists, but it is just a defition of greedflation.

I've watched my bank account inflate since they started raising prices just because. I keep myself alive, my pets alive and everything else can get bent. I'm living quite minimal now and I'm better off for it.
