If you find an injured owl:
Note your exact location so the owl can be released back where it came from. Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist to get correct advice and immediate assistance.
Minimize stress for the owl. If you can catch it, toss a towel or sweater over it and get it in a cardboard box or pet carrier. It should have room to be comfortable but not so much it can panic and injure itself. If you can’t catch it, keep people and animals away until help can come.
Do not give food or water! If you feed them the wrong thing or give them water improperly, you can accidentally kill them. It can also cause problems if they require anesthesia once help arrives, complicating procedures and costing valuable time.
If it is a baby owl, and it looks safe and uninjured, leave it be. Time on the ground is part of their growing up. They can fly to some extent and climb trees. If animals or people are nearby, put it up on a branch so it’s safe. If it’s injured, follow the above advice.

Mustache.
I love a good owl-stache!
If Zoidberg were an owl.
I would love to see him scuttle away clicking his beak and making 3 Stooges sounds! 😂
Spectacled Owl
The Afro would have probably be a challenger to the mustache but the other one is a peacock-owl !
With these two, one could make a owl book for a hairdresser.
Lol, they are totally gifted in regard to having suberb follicles! They're keeping those 70s styles alive!
Peacock owl is a great photo. I just had to sneak in an extra photo for each to get all the shape shifting in.
The spectacled owl just looks like such a polite lad
He makes me think of an private college professor from a movie, with a dark suit jacket and of course, thick spectacles.
Exactly! Got the sweater vest with a blazer kind of look
Not sure if you’re interested, but I like when people tell me things I may not know.
When to use “a” vs “an”.
If the proceeding word starts with a vowel sound, then it’s “an”.
An apple or an orange A private college or a cat.
Edit: It’s important to note it’s a vowel sound, not a vowel. Just couldn’t think of an example for an.
I do appreciate any tips given politely like you did!
My new phone seems to be learning my typing at a glacial pace (I would think it would autocorrect "iwl" to "owl" by now if nothing else! What is an iwl anyway?) so most of it is me missing typos while trying to post between things at work.
I usually fix them when I see them or one of you pokes fun at me, but I'll leave this one as an example since it's one many people get incorrect.
Thank you for doing this in a constructive way and not the way I see many people respond to grammar mistakes!
