[BUG] Hide username crashes app

After the latest update, turning on "Hide username in account selector" setting crashes the app on startup.

Scenario (steps to reproduce)**

  1. Login with an account
  2. Go to settings>Security
  3. Turn on hide username in account picker

Result(s) App crashes when going back to home screen and when opening it

Happens on one profile for me as well, I had to clear the app storage and restore the settings from a previous backup.

Restoring from the backup file with hide_username set to false did let me in using that backup.

Try opening a lemmy link from your web browser in Sync.

Thanks, but I had a backup with the setting disabled so it was no issue to just reset the app.

I was able to get around this by opening a lemmy post from my browser in Sync. Somehow that didn't crash and from there I was able to get into settings and disable that option without having to delete my data.
