I just like how Dray and Dame had that fancy dinner just to rejoin the dubs for $100m lol

Honestly feels like the Rockets massively overpaid for FVV... Blazers overpaid for Jerami Grant. We all knew Draymond wasn't getting a max but 4/100 is definitely lower than the sum I was thinking of - the Warriors got off great in this deal. Bruce Brown deservedly so got the bag. Good for him.
I don't know about Draymond, I feel he's going to have a massive drop off in 2-3 years and $25M is going to look pretty bad by then.
By then the Warriors window will have closed and they'll be looking to start a rebuild. I wouldn't be surprised if Draymond and Curry both retire in the same offseason.
I thought FVV and Grant both got more than I expected too. Time wise, at least the Grant contract is over 5 years vs 3. Was great to see Bruce get his bag but they’re gonna miss him in Denver
As a Bucks fan, I'm still nervously waiting for Brook Lopez
Guess you're good now.
Yep we're set for another run
Really shocked that it looks like not only is Lillard requesting a trade, but specifically to the Miami Heat. Definitely limits what kind of return the Blazers can get...
my question is are the Heat really going to be better off after this anyway once they finish trading away or losing all their depth?
It feels like worse off considering they lost Strus and Vincent already
Desmond Bane just signed a max deal with the Grizzlies. 5/$207. I mean, he’s good but a max?? I didn’t see that coming.
Completely agree. It'll be interesting to watch how that contract ages.
Definitely an overpay imo.
Bucks resigned Middleton which was an obvious move, but losing Jevon Carter and Joe Ingles could end up hurting them. Will be interested to see who they fill those spots up with. I think resigning Brook Lopez is a must for them
Was Ingles even that good for them? Carter is good for the regular season but not much of a loss.
Ingles is like the perfect glue guy
Definitely not a super high impact player and obviously is aging while also being post injury, but he gave them some timely 3s and a few good defensive plays per game.
Happy as a Suns fan. Glad we went with young guys instead of vets. Honestly I didn't even know most of these guys, but again better than proven oldies. Plus nihonjin Yuta. Excited for next year!
did better than I expected, nothing crazy but at least decent
Lakers made some moves getting Taurean Prince, Cam Reddish, and Gabe Vincent. I’m skeptical that those players will be enough to get them further than they went this year but we will see. Resigning Rui is big too he was great for them in the playoffs
Wonder how much KD had a role in for Yuta to join the Suns. Seemed like KD liked him while he was on the Nets.
Biggest surprise for me was the Suns moving awU from Jock Lawndale after he played pretty well against Denver in the Playoffs. Not sure what they want from a backup C that Jock doesn’t provide especially with that position being most difficult one for teams to roster in today’s NBA.
I thought he did alright against Jokic all things considered. There’s no way you’re gonna stop him but it seemed like he at least had more energy on defense than Ayton did
Yeah, sad as Jock fit in with the team quickly. Eubanks might be more defensive for Vogel.
He would be a perfect fit at back up 5 on the Cavs. Really hoping we can bring him to CLE
Cavs Free Agency
UFA Georges Niang (3/26) - I'm assuming we used 8.5 of the MLE on this contract
Sign and trade Max Strus (4/63) for Cedi Osman and Lamar Stevens
Caris Lavert re-upped on a 2 year 32 mil contract.
Pretty happy with these moves so far considering we didn't have a lot of assets or any cap room available. Sad to see Cedi and Lamar go, but you have to give up something to get something.
Levert* ugh when you over think a spelling instead of looking it up
Nothing too crazy so far, more drama at ESPN rn.
RIP Jeff Van Gundy. Can’t believe they picked Mark Jackson over him
Ok, I take it all back. Get your chip Dame.
Thanks for setting it up, good idea. I've pinned it to the top.
Will be following here for the updates/discussion
noooo but now how will I post every single bleacher report article here
Happy with the Twolves moves so far. Just gotta resign Ant and Jaden now.
Haven't been keeping up, anything specific? I don't remember you having a lot of wiggle room after the Gobert trade
Is Ant going to get a max I assume?
I know he's old but I still think D-Rose might make some sense on the Grizzlies. A bit weird we didn't use the full mid-level on someone but there weren't any great options at guard, unless you covet someone like Schroder
Rose is a fantastic team player and will definitely help things in the locker room.
