Congrats UCF. I've got high hopes for the new teams. I think we're going to have ourselves a fun little conference. If OU and UT get regularly beat up in the SEC that would be a nice little bonus, but we don't need them to have a good time. Honestly the vast majority of bad blood I have with Big 12 teams leaves with them so I'm ready for some good natured competition.

I'm really excited for this conference. I see these games getting hype as heck going forward. I'd love a bit more bad blood though. I'm still holding out hope that usf can sneak into the conference somehow.

The H8+4+4C is a really solid group. Getting a few state flagships back in the fold, even if they aren't bluebloods, helps with mid- to long-term credibility.

Then there's the basketball...
