2.5 weeks is too soon for decor changes! (Cuz I only put my pumpkins out on Halloween this year)

My thoughts exactly. Two of my neighbors put their lights up yesterday. It's cold and snowing here. I am not that dedicated.

Last year I put up addressable RGB LED strings and built a custom controller. Now every occasion gets its own light display.

I just don't even bother with the Christmas lights. Though i do feel rather called out on the melted pumpkin. I should probably throw that in the compost.

My partner put up our black yulemas tree so the pumpkins can still work (if we remembered to get them)
