TIL wet beavers look exactly like those tacky porcelain statuettes.
Hah, I've never seen one of those, but you're so right. In my area, the tacky thing to do is put out "marble" sculptures of like lions by your door or some vases... except it's like a tiny, cheap house and it looks completely out of place.
