Not sure if this sort of link is allowed, but I was just thinking of the first ever RTS for me: Dune II, and I realized I could play it in a browser! I don't have any backups of this game with me, so this was a treat.

Yes! It's so wild to play it again and see that it holds up. The music, too! I'll be playing it between tasks tomorrow for sure!

Dune II is super fun, if you want to play the same old game, but with more modern rts features you should check out dune legacy.
