Wizard of legend is apparently a pretty good game, you can get it for like 5 bucks. No man’s sky is also said to be fun, so is cyberpunk 2077. Both are 50% off and are about 35 bucks Doom and doom eternal are always pretty cheap on seasonal sales, both very fun, and dont require nasa pcs to run well Hades is an incredible roguelite, especially on handhelds like the steam deck. Im not sure if its on sale Speaking of, there might be a sale but idk Slime rancher is super cute, super fun, super chill. Great to relax and to pick up for short or longer sessions. Idk about it being on sale

Thanks for the recommendations! The only one I don't have already is Slime Rancher, which was 75% off!

I'm getting CrossCode, which promises to be like a hard Zelda style game, and I'm stoked. I really like the Ys games, and someone recommended it as a more puzzle focused Ys-like game (as in, strong narrative and tough gameplay).

For something newer, I'm looking at Cocoon, which looks pretty cool. Not sure if I'll get it, it really depends on how much time I have this week. Other puzzle games I can recommend are Manifold Garden and Mirrorama (just finished the former, and just bought the latter).

I'm also considering "Transistor* because I enjoyed Bastion.

Crosscode is my favorite game ive ever played. I shill for it every opportunity I have. It's an incredible experience in my opinion and always stoked to hear about people getting into it. Good luck with it! :)

Transistor was also a cool game and it also didnt overstay it's welcome imo

If you haven't played stray yet then you should. It's still not particularly cheap for a game that'll take you 5hrs to beat but it's brilliant.

Hollow Knight if you've never played it, it's 50% off right now.

I'm not buying anything with a discount less than 50% given how many games I haven't played in my library. Which sucks because indie games usually don't do sale that deep.

Well to balance that out indie games are normally a lot cheaper. Underrail is only $9 off on GoG but that's a 60% discount. It's rare to get a kinda modern AAA game that cheap.

Indies are usually shorter, so I usually make exceptions for them despite having tons of unplayed games, especially during holidays when I have more time to play.

I'm a lot more conservative with buying AAAs though because they're usually longer and have steeper discounts after a few years. So if I'm not super excited to play them right now, I can usually buy them next year at like half the price.

So for me, I'll pick up indies at 20-50% off, and AAAs at 60-80% off, unless I'm really interested in the game (i.e. I'd start it right away).

Why would you waste your money buying some denuvo DRM protected game when you can just have it free?
