Just a note that a lot of covid tests have had their expiration dates extended. If you have older tests in your house, or you receive older tests from this government offer, you can check the actual [current] expiration date here:

https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-covid-19-and-medical-devices/home-otc-covid-19-diagnostic-tests

Some tests have been extended multiple times, so double-check your expirations before throwing any out.

Oooh another batch. Order placed. Thanks for the heads up!

A pleasure. May all your tests resolve negative.

Is this in reaction to an increased COVID rate that I'm not tracking?

[–] Jerkface 3 points 1 year ago

Perhaps, but it's also just ahead of Thanksgiving, which predicts a spike in infection rates.

Yes, there is an increase in covid rates around the US.

Nice, thank you. I got the first batch a few months ago, but didn't hear anything about this 2nd release. They are promoting them less and less... with a wife and 2 kids having these around during the school year really helps and can go quick. At 20 something a pop in stores or forced to go to doctor at $30 copay this is a real help to have on hand.

You might also have some at your work place collecting dust. I know my work bought boxes of them that haven't yet expired months ago and they aren't going anywhere.
