Never actually used onlyoffice before but guess can't hurt to try. I'll just treat it like excel in terms of permissions I give it. Appreciate the help
OnlyOffice is very decent yes, most likely the best/most close thing to MS Office because unlike LibreOffice they actually care about making things compatible. However like said before it might be come with some spyware and their license is very questionable.
I've only ever used Collabora via the CODE server on my nextcloud instance, which has worked without issues on both desktop and mobile. Though that obviusly isn't accessible without setup, or when offline, even.
Is there an issue tracker for Collabora somewhere? Are these problems known?
If not, reporting your problems is step one towards getting them fixed. I'm not really finding alternatives either, so that will likely be faster than waiting for a whole nother FOSS office suite app to pop up.
I'm not sure in all honesty but I'll look around. I'm just always hesitant to bring up issues to devs but I guess since there isnt an alternative I'll have to, if it isnt already. Worst case I'll just do everything on libre calc and export my spreadsheet to a format I can open up on my phone. Thanks for the help
OnlyOffice with network blocked has been working quite nicely for me. Can confirm that Collabora keeps freezing and lagging.
