As I see it, Ukraine has the most experienced defence force in Europe. Bringing them in would be a huge boon, and not only militarily.

They can train any NATO country on a wide variety of NATO weapons as well as improvised drone tactics and counter drone operations. Even civilians in disaster response.

Man, Sandi Toksvig makes Denmark sound like such a magical utopia. Then statements like that kinda shatter that illusion entirely.

Seems reasonable to me. These rules are there to make the chances of later issues with corruption, economic problems, etc less likely. We should help these countries to reach the expectations, but we shouldn't just drop the expectations because of the circumstances.
