Rules

AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).

Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.

Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.

Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.

Switched to an android tablet (tab S8 ultra) drawing is great and clip studio has so many features... But so pricey. Also hate that there's no real offline mode. Miss procreate in a lot of ways, mainly because I spent a lot of time getting used to it. Anyway, now my clip studio trial is over so... Let's see what happens!

I've got an s6 lite and have found a combination of Krita and infinite painter to be the best for me.

Nice. Have you experienced with vector layers and changing line weight in those apps? That's probably the no. 1 feature I like about clip studio.

Not vector layers, but line weight changes are very easy in both. Infinite Painter is more of a Procreate style app, whereas Krita is more of desktop drawing app, which I think might still be in beta on Android - but works pretty well.

Clip studio is on sale right now! It would be worth getting a year on the discount. I used infinitepainter for years and finally made the switch. I have seen a dramatic difference in my workflow.

For the next 2 hours its $10 for a year on a tablet. https://www.clipstudio.net/en/purchase/

Not only did I miss this message, but by the time you posted I had already paid the ~$30 for the year. DANG. Thank you so much for the heads up though, even though I couldn't take advantage of it I really appreciate you taking the time to relay the info here. Maybe someone else was able to do it.
