Yes, except from personal experience an email that should be a critical hit causing death can be thwarted by the simple process of not opening it and claiming it got lost in the spam folder

You know how every company has that one person who likes to CC your boss on every email they send you, probably because they think it adds urgency to whatever they want.

Well guess what Tabitha, my boss doesn't give a field of fucks about you or anything you have to say. In fact, you've just earned a spot right at the bottom of the priority list.

If work emails are the Dark Souls of communication, then you cannot take critical hits as long as you wear the jester outfit

Work meetings are a real time stealth game, where I try to hide my underwear and cats while the guards try to catch me

They really should add hit points and damage.

Per my previous email being my roll for a critical.

CC'ing for additional companion damage.

Someone should make a bot or something that does this. You bcc the bot and get a response with the info.

"Critical Damage! Becky K. from accounting has fainted!"

They wouldn't even have to know they are a part of it haha.

"Jack lost -15 HP due to Stealth Damage"

Because people are forwarding the email

This explains why I hate emails and enjoy instant messaging like slack/discord. TBS suck.
